IRNA - Iran's former president Ahmad Khatami said here Saturday that the aim of holding dialogue is restoration of peace based on justice.
"Peace will be possible only when it is based on justice and to this end dialogue is a means," Head of the Institute of Dialogue among Cultures and Civilizations, Hojjatoleslam Khatami, told a ceremony held in Vienna Academy, marking the 35th anniversary of the St. Gabriel dialogue initiative.
Hojjatoleslam Khatami, who has been a member of the Conference of Christianity and Islam in Austria since 1993, said more than half the world population are Christians and Muslims. "So, the two groups should strive against crimes and injustices worldwide."
